Acting for Dulux Paints on the Disposal of its Former Manufacturing Site in Cork

We are delighted to have acted for the seller, Dulux Paints, on the sale of its previous manufacturing site at Commons Road, Cork, completing in December 2025 just ahead of year end. The transaction involved a complicated title position across different lots of land, including land that was partly unregistered.

Our work included progressing court applications under the Trustee Act to enable one of the lots to be transferred to the correct Dulux entity following a historic title issue, alongside advising in relation to the transfer of environmental licences and the transfer of the title to the site.

We were delighted to support Dulux Paints in coordinating these workstreams through to completion within a tight year end timetable. The transaction was led by Katelin Toomey, Senior Associate, and John O’Connor, Managing Partner.
